May Fun Day Event - Information Guide

Updated: May 20, 2021

Here is where you can find all relevant information for the Llanrumney Hall May Fun Day Event on Bank Holiday Monday 31st.

Dates, Times and COVID Information:

  • The event will run from 10am – 3pm in the grounds of Llanrumney Hall and is completely FREE! However, we will have a donation point on the front entrance for those wishing to donate to the charity.

  • There will be hand sanitiser on the front gate for people to use upon entry as well as a track and trace system in place.

  • The event will not be ticketed and so will not need prior booking. You simply turn up on the day and we will allow for as many visitors on site as our Risk Assessment allows. Once capacity is met, we will be operating on a one in, one out basis.

  • Everyone above the age of 13 must wear a mask unless you are exempt for medical reasons.

  • There will be no onsite parking for the event. If you are a blue badge holder, we have a very limited number of disabled parking spaces so please call in advance to register your name and badge with our team so it can be reserved.

Events, Activities, Stalls, Food and More:

  • Morgan’s Table Café will be providing the catering for our May Day event with burgers, sausages and takeaway pizzas.

  • We will be running a range of events and activities for kids and adults alike, including: Hook-the-duck, tombola, a hamper raffle, ‘knock the tin cans’, splat the rat, higher and lower, an onsite ice cream van, cake stalls, a tuck shop with squash and sweets for the kids, music, food and a whole lot more!

  • There will be independent retailers selling homemade hand-crafted goods from their stalls with items such as dream catchers, chocolate marshmallows, face masks, handmade coasters, trivets, wreaths, cupcakes, second hand clothes, candles and more. Llanrumney RFC will be running a stall to engage with the community as well.

  • We will be operating a command tent which will house stalls from the tenants and partners of Llanrumney Hall Community Trust. The Command tent will also act as first aid and lost child pick up point.

Volunteers:

  • We are still in need of volunteers for this event and any support you can provide us with would be greatly appreciated. Whether you can give an hour of your time or the full day, we would love for you to contact us and have you on the team. Volunteers will be needed for queue monitoring, track and trace information, stall running, drinks serving and generally ensuring the day runs smoothly. If you or someone you know are interested, please contact us on 02920 001441 or email communications@llanrumneyhall.org.

Stall Hire:

  • Finally, there are still a limited number of stall spaces left available to hire, so if you would like to pitch up and sell some goods to a community of customers then give us call or drop us a message. Stall hire starts at £10.
