Halloween @ The Hall: Welcome To Our House of Horrors 2023

Updated: Sep 29, 2023

Following the huge success of last years House of Horrors Halloween event at Llanrumney Hall, we are pleased to announce we are bringing back this 3-day family fun spooky event on October 27th, 28th and 29th.

Llanrumney Hall presents our very own House of Horrors event where you will be given a guided tour of this 500+ year old famously haunted mansion. The tour will consist of 6 rooms within The Hall, all with a different frightening theme which have been designed and arranged by Cardiff Youth and Llanrumney Hall staff and volunteers. From ghosts and skeletons to witches and snakes, you’re guaranteed to hear some haunting screams from this haunted house.

Despite this alone being a fantastic experience, we wanted to offer you even more value for your money. So from 5:30 - 9:30pm, there will be a live DJ and disco for the kids in the outer grounds of The Hall with Halloween hits playing throughout the night. We will have stalls serving refreshments, sweets, candy floss, popcorn and Halloween themed goodies and toys. There will also be fun activities, games and raffles to get involved with, as well as exciting prizes to be won.

We will be hosting a BBQ in the grounds of The Hall serving hot food and drinks across the three nights, so no need to worry about getting dinner beforehand.

Don’t forget to wear your best Halloween costumes! We are encouraging everyone to dress up to set the mood and add to the event. Please note, this is a family friendly event and although it will be scary, it will be suitable for all ages.

We strongly advise all ticket purchasers to read our full Terms & Conditions for the event before purchasing your ticket via the document below.

Our staff and volunteers have been working on this event for months now and we have worked very hard to keep the ticket cost as low as possible for you all. When purchasing a ticket, you will have the option to choose your time slot for the House of Horrors Tour. Your selected time cannot be changed on the night so choose your time carefully. With this ticket, you will also have access to all the excitement that will be happening outside the house in the grounds of The Hall.

Neurodivergent-Friendly Tickets:

To make our Haunted House of Horrors accessible to all, this year we have decided to host a neurodivergent session at 4pm on Sunday 29th October. This is for those who may not be able to process the Haunted House tour the same as others and need additional factors such as the lights on, quieter music, less scares, and a slower pace. The session will take the same route as the main tour but will not provide the exact same experience.

If you would like to book this slot or would like more information, please call reception on 029 2000 1441. Bookings for this tour cannot be made via our Eventbrite. Please note, this session is not for anyone, just for those with difficulties that stop them from attending the main House of Horrors Tour.
