What a fantastic Summer Holiday it’s been here at Llanrumney Hall! We hope everyone enjoyed their break as much as we loved hosting the wide range of exciting, free activities over the last 5 weeks of our Summer Programme.
Each Monday and Tuesday, our Under 5’s Storytelling brought stories to life while the little ones enjoyed colouring, followed by afternoons of Arts & Crafts. From Worry Monsters to Clay Sculpting, Lavendar Scent bags and cupcake decorating, these activities really helped to engage the children’s imaginations!
Our Mindful Mini’s yoga session introduced a relaxing new hobby where children could enjoy a relaxing session of peaceful exercise and meditation. And thanks to Cardiff Council, the Outdoor Play Shack sessions were a huge success, sparking creative play and adventure with fort building and imaginative games.
We ended this exciting programme with a Community Litter Pick which really taught the importance of caring for our community and environment while also having fun! We would like to thank the ‘Llanrumney Litter Pickers’ for organising this! It was great to see the varied turnout we had from friends and family members of all ages!
A huge thank you is also to our incredible team here at Llanrumney Hall who’s hard work and dedication in planning and organising this summer of fun does not go unnoticed!
