On the 14th of March, we had the pleasure of hosting an Open Day at Llanrumney Hall, offering our valued supporters the opportunity to visit this historic building and see firsthand what makes it such a unique community facility. This event was not only a chance for us to show appreciation for the ongoing support we’ve received, but also a perfect moment to highlight the wide array of services and activities that take place within the Hall.
During the event, visitors enjoyed an exclusive tour where we showed them different rooms and spaces in the building, each with its own historical story. These included lively spaces with local businesses like a hairdresser, beauty studio, and life coaching services, as well as areas where the community meets for workshops and events.
One of the highlights of the day was when we ventured down into the cellar. It was a unique experience for visitors, as we guided them down to where the underground tunnels lie, revealing a hidden side of Llanrumney Hall’s rich history. These tunnels have long been a part of The Hall's heritage and offer a glimpse into the past that many don’t usually see. It was incredible to share this history with our supporters, adding even more depth to the building's already impressive legacy.
We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended this day including Blue Self Storage, CMB Maintenance, CMB Engineering, Cardiff & Vale College, Effro, Sherman Theatre, Live Well Service, and Bean’s To Coffee. It was wonderful to share how far we’ve come and to look ahead to what’s in our future. Your support means the world to us, and we hope you enjoyed your visit to Llanrumney Hall. We look forward to welcoming you back soon and continuing to grow our community charity together!
