Well, that concludes our 2024 Llanrumney Hall House of Horrors Halloween event – what an incredible 2 days!
We would like to begin by saying a huge thank you to everyone who attended. We’re delighted that yet another Halloween event hosted by Llanrumney Hall has been nothing but successful! It’s rewarding to us and everyone else involved to see the time and effort put into the event has more than paid off.
We had absolutely fantastic feedback from those who attended – each saying the House of Horrors tour was just as enjoyable as it was thrilling! The true star of the show was of course our Haunted House tour. This tour welcomed guests through a spooktacular experience, being taken on a 6-room themed tour of our famously haunted mansion. We won’t give away too much on what lurked inside, you’ll have to come next year to find out…
The grounds saw a disco in the polytunnel with plenty of groovy moves and party games hosted by the founders of Mindful Minis! Our live animal show, hosted by The Nearly Wild Show, provoked both excitement and adrenaline while the children got to hold a variety of creatures including tarantulas, snakes, guineapigs, lizards, rats and more!
It’s easy enough to say how much of a success the event was now, but that most certainly wasn’t without months of hard work. Our amazing staff, volunteers and youths are what made this event possible, and we can’t thank them enough for dedicating their valuable time.
Our amazing volunteers included Andrea Bakhtiari, Bertie Borley, Christine Borley, Steve Borley, Lucy Dando, Charlotte, Lynne Dando, Adrian Ferguson, Jack Hinton, Rosalyn Mortimer, Wayne Mortimer, Gwen Colley, Kenneth Marshall, Kate, Gabriel, Oscar, Logan, Mason, Emma, Lolly, Casey and Megan.
Our talented individuals from our Youth Group included Chris Humpherys, Joseph Humpherys, Jack Humphreys, Kymme, Chloe, Gracie, Hannah, Kiera, Madison, Lucas, Nath, Dylan, AJ, Aerton, Maya, Comfort, Keisha and Fred.
Our hardworking staff included Kath Hinton, Ronan Dowling, Esme French, Katie Tidman, Yolander Heichlinger and Craig Smith.
A huge thank you to Lucy and Charlotte from Mindful Minis for keeping the disco exciting and everyone entertained with top tunes and fabulous games!
Thank you to the security – Les Newman and Richie Smith who kept the event enjoyable and issue free!
A further thank you to Steve and Bertie Borley for providing everyone with tasty hotdogs across the two days – they were great!
And we would like to say a final thank you to all those who bought tickets and came on either of the two days. You all created an amazing atmosphere and made our event great! Hopefully see you all next year at Halloween @ The Hall.
We can’t wait to bring this back for you again next year and introduce even more local people to the haunting home of Llanrumney Hall. Until then, thank you to each and every person who showed up for this event – the feedback was better than we could have ever expected and that makes all the difference.
